Bastard's Lane

Bastard's Lane (previously Power Drive) is a power boost/ pre-amp / fuzz. It shares the topology of a fuzz face, but tweaked to sound woollier and crunchier but with plenty of saturation.
It features low gain soviet germanium transistors which gives the unit an exceptional clean up with the volume knob of your guitar. Additionally, it allows to change the input capacitor from 3,3uF to a 4,7nF capacitor. This feature, combined with the pick up selection of your guitar can provide some incredible treble boosterish kind of sounds with lots of attack, krispiness and definition.

-NOS soviet resistors
-NOS soviet capacitors
-Alpha Potentiometers
-Cliff UK jacks
-DPDT toggle switch to select between from (left to right) 4700pF/3.3uF capacitors
-3PDT Gorva footswitch (true bypass wiring)

Every pedal that recreates classic fuzz circuits is powered via a 9V battery, only, since the goal is to replicate the originals.

All Memory Lane Electronics pedals feature a certain level of cosmetic distress. This trait is intentional and it is meant to make people more comfortable to use it to its fullest potential, rather then trying to keep it neat and untouched in the box. It also allows for a quicker relicking, providing each person with a more personalized pedal, as well as a more "organic" and vintage looking unit.

Our germanium-based pedals are limited to a certain stock of germanium transistors. At the moment we support some models from all over the world like from Japan, Poland, Soviet Union, Great Britain, Europe and America.
